Google Search Console
Google Search Console is a basic tool that helps to do Search Engine Optimization in a controlled form. Google Search console helps to optimize the website by reporting any errors and performance of the website and also helps to customize website according to client's priorities i.e; target audience, area etc. Google Search Console was initially known as Google Webmaster Tools. This platform helps you to monitor your website's performance and reports crawl or HTML error.
To Get started with Google Search Console:
Step 1: Submit the Domain address or URL prefix and get verified using any of the five verification methods. In case your blogger account and Google Search Console is signed in with same email ID, URL will be auto verified. Otherwise, the website has to verified using any one of the five methods.
Step 2: By clicking "Go to Property" navigation will  be redirected to blog's dashboard inside Google search console. Paste the URL for URL Inspection. You can Test live URL and request for indexing. If  the URL is available, the web page can be submitted for indexing request. Later Google will crawl and index the webpage, if there are no errors.
Step 3: You can submit your website's sitemap. 
Sitemap
Sitemap is a XML document which contain all the URLs belonging to a website, last modified date and time, change frequency of the website and other priorities like homepage settings etc. If there are more number of web pages in a website, submitting the sitemap is more preferable, rather than submitting each webpage for URL inspection. XML document can be easily crawled by the Search Engine within 2 - 3 seconds whereas normal HTML pages takes almost 30 - 40 seconds to get crawled.
Maximum number of URLs that can be submitted in a sitemap is 50000 pages. If there are more than 50000 web pages, then more than one sitemaps can be submitted. Maximum size for a sitemap is 10 MB and if it exceeds, the sitemap file can be submitted as a compressed zip folder. In (CSM) Content Management System Websites like blogger.com, wordpress.com, there will be a built-in plugin  that can automatically generate sitemap. But for normal HTML pages, online sitemap generating tools be used, which then can to uploaded to the root directory of the website.

Google Search Console Verification Method
- HTML file verification method: It provides a HTML file which can be downloaded and then uploaded to the root directory of the website's Cpanel for verification. Whereas, in other methods there is a chance to break the meta tags or for unintentional changes in the main HTML file as those tracking code are directly installed. This is the most advisable method for Domain properties.
 
- HTML meta tag method: It generates a meta tag that can be pasted in the head section of website's HTML file before verification.
 
- Google Analytics method: Here you can add your website's Google Analytics tracking code in the head section for the respective account for verification. This method can be used only URL prefix properties, but not Domain properties.
 
- Google Tag Manager method: Google tag manager help to install, track and monitor meta tags without editing main codes. In this method, tag manager code can be pasted immediately in the opening of the body section of HTML file for verification. This method can be used only URL prefix properties, but not Domain properties.
 
- DNS provider method: In this method involves submission of DNS Data record into the domain name provider's record list and verification is done. This is the second recommended method.
